Venetian Lagoon islands tour
Tour of the venetian lagoon – private
Venice is an incredible island, every corner is a hidden surprise, every bridge is a postcard, sometimes the entire island can be really crowded and the best way to avoid it is … going for a relaxing boat ride in the Venetian Lagoon! This is a day trip that is worth the trip to Venice alone, it is the best way to relax and see what’s behind all the tourist scenes!
We will help you customize your Lagoon Tour, but a suggested itinerary could go something like this:
I would definitely visit Murano, which is totally different from Venice and its majesty ! Here there are fewer big palaces Muranois the capital of glass blowing and the palazzos are smaller, more practical rather than beautiful, with the space that the big glass factories need.
With our tour we will enjoy a tour of one of the oldest glass blowing factories of the island of Murano !
Not to be missed, in my opinion, is a walk along the island of Mazzorbo ! Never heard of it? It’s a little island attached to Burano, famed for its lace and colorful houses, by a little bridge !
Why do I like Mazzorbo so much? Because it’s home to a unique vineyard, which fights for survival against the tides for 2 months each year.We will discover a few secrets of the incredible wine of the lagoon and visit a localvegetable garden ! You’ ll enjoy Mazzorbo and the vineyard for their uniqueness!
Then the highlight of our day will be the island of Burano! An unreal place, where people trust each other like in the good old days, front doors are never locked ! You’ll discover lovely little canals, incredible cookies, colorful houses – a paradise for photographers and “cookies monsters” ! This is just an idea of what you’ll see with us! The day will hold many other surprises!
Our boat ride will take us close by the island of Torcello, an amazing quiet little place well known thanks to Ernest Hemingway who stayed here for a while! Should we talk about the beauties of the natural landscape? Should we talk about the nature and the birds and mother nature here? If we are lucky we might see flamingos …. they became locals a while ago !
